Class Project

We have a really cute project that we are going to be making in January at The Paper Rabbit in Greenwood, and at The Scrap Shack in Augusta.
It is a set of four handmade milk cartons inside a handmade crate. How cute is this?! Of course we are going to be using our Stamping Studio stamps to layer and create a wonderful customized look that will perfectly match our cardstocks and pattern paper. The crates have been left open at the bottom so that you can add your goodies inside and you won't have to pull apart the milk cartons to open them.
We will "not" be making this project at the Studio so please join us either at The Paper Rabbit or The Scrap Shack to create your own.

The Paper Rabbit in Greenwood SC - 864-223-6969 THURSDAY JANUARY 8TH

The Scrap Shack in Augusta GA - 706-922-5171 SATURDAY JANUARY 17TH 10:00am

Classes are $15.00

Please call the stores for more information and to sign up. I hope to see you all there!

Tim Holtz Crackle Paints 50% off!

In our continued effort to reduce stock and manufacture more stamps, we are marking down more items for your shopping pleasure. I just marked down all of our Time Holtz line of Crackle Paints. If you haven't tried this before I think you will be pleasantly surprised. They are super easy to work with on cardstock, and they crackle in just one step. The colors are wonderfully vibrant and match the Tim Holtz line of Distress ink pads that you might already have.

You can find these at the store www.thestampingstudio.com in the "Crackle Paint" section.

Big Stamp Sale!

How about a sale for let's say 50% off?! I just marked down almost all the stamp sets in the section of the store "Rubber Stamps Holiday" 50% off. This is the only catagory/section that has been marked down, so you may see the stamp set in another section for the regular price... you will need to purchase it from the "Rubber Stamps Holiday" section to get the discount.

There are tons of Christmas and other holiday stamp sets availble that I am sure you will love. At this price why not pick up a couple extra sets for gift giving?

Kriss Cramer in Crafts'N Things!

Hey everyone,

I received my copy of Crafts'N Things in the mail yesterday (they bought out the Rubber Stamper a while back and converted my subscription to Crafts'N Things) and while thumbing through it this morning I thought I saw some our Stamping Studio stamp images and low-and-behold I did! Kriss Cramer has a whole page of her designs on page 86 featuring Vintage Memories on her beeswax tags. They are beautiful!

Congratulations Kriss and thank you for using your TSS stamps!

Suzanne Milam in the new Take Ten!

Hey stamping and scrapping friends,

Join me in congratulating our Design Team member Suzanne Milam for getting published again! This time she is in the current Take Ten issue from The Stampers Sampler. I am anxious to see her in the actual magazine but have not had a chance to pick one up in Augusta yet. Here are the sample cards that are in the issue below. They are from the ruffles and pleats challenge that we had a few months back and I can see why they chose her!

Stamps back in and Merry Christmas Tree

Hey everyone,

Good news!... we received another shipment of Christmas rubber stamps in this afternoon, and now have back in stock the Snowflake Tree, Drummer Boy, Three Wisemen, Welcome Baby Jesus, and one set that we have not have in stock this year at all because it is so popular is the Merry Christmas Tree. This set just flys off the shelves as it is just so darn cute! Here are some samples I have made with it and the stamp set itself. You can find this set and all the others in the store www.thestampingstudio.com in either "Ready Set Stamps" or "Rubber Stamps Holiday". I always think of the tree from this set as a Dr. Seuss tree!

Our 2007 Christmas Card

Hey ya'll!
I hope you all have recovered from your Thanksgiving celebrations? We had a great time with family and friends over at my in-laws house all weekend long. I ate waaay too much, and we even went to go see the new 007 flick which I enjoyed.
Have you been working on completing your handmade Christmas cards? I am a bit behind, but did manage to take our annual Christmas photo's which I will use to make our Christmas cards. I thought I would share our Christmas cards from last year. I took our photo's in front of our tree and had the boys wear shirts that Byron brought back from India. Last years prop was an empty picture frame. I had the boys pose with their heads sticking through it and also got the dogs into the action. I then cropped and printed the photo's into small squares and glued them to the front of the card. I used some BasicGrey pattern paper and the card base was red. I then used my computer to create the inside of the card and stamped a shimmery snowflake, from the Delicate Snowflake set inside the card. I was pretty happy with how these turned out! I hope I can come up with an equally fun idea this year... I have a few things in mind but I better get "cracka-lakin"!
I would love to know what kind of Christmas cards you all make for you family and friends. Post your idea to share with everyone.
