Latest news...

I received an email from friend and Design Team member Suzanne Milam last night that she has been published again! She is in the newest edition of Just Cards published by the same people as Scrap and Stamp Arts. The two cards published are from a blue/brown color challenge for the Design Team last year. A big CONGRATULATIONS to Suzanne!

Also I am so excited to be attending a Copic Marker Certification class this coming Sunday in Durham NC. I will drive up Saturday night and meet Design Team members Pat Jaynes and Suzanne Milam whom are also taking the class. I can't wait to learn more about this "hot" product and I hope to be carrying these in the store soon.

Now you are "in the know"! I will be back Sunday night and hope to get a tutorial for the cute project we made at our last workshop uploaded next week so keep checking back! Have a great weekend everyone and I hope you take the time to STAMP!

Hi from HHI

My 12 year old boy was finally able to figure out the internet connection here in our condo at Hilton Head Island. We are having a great time with lots of sun and great food, and we even picked up a couple hermit crabs at the local shell shop that we will bringing home with us... Hermie and Hilton. This was against my better judgement but you know how it goes when a nine year old looks into your eays and begs.... until you give in. :)

We return Wednesday morning and will post more then. I hope you are all having a fun summer too!

Banana Pudding Recipe

This was a hit at my Husbands work conference we hosted at our house this past week. It is defiantly worth the calories!

Banana Pudding
Ingredients;
1 large pkg instant vanilla pudding
2 1/2 cups cold milk
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 container whipped topping (16 ounces)
sliced bananas (I use about 6)
vanilla wafers (the mini ones are great!)

Prep.;
Mix pudding and place in refrigerator for 5 minutes. Take out and whisk in condensed milk and half of whipped topping. Alternate layers of pudding, bananas and vanilla wafers. Top with remaining whipped topping. A trifle bowl works great for this.

Enjoy!

June 20th Stamp Club Workshop

Hi everyone,

Has it been a busy summer for all of you too? Whew! But lot's of fun... the boys and I are taking off for Hilton Head Island SC on Saturday for a few days at the beach and we can't wait. I plan on just "beaching" myself on the sand with a good book and watching the boys play in the surf. They can stay in the water all day long. We will be back next week and then we have our monthly Stamp Club Workshop on Saturday June 20th. I already have all the projects designed and think you are going to love'em! Here is the second card we are going to make and it is a miniature of the other card I showed you the other day with the Chinese girls on it. This is about half the size and too cute.

Anyone is invited to the workshop, and it is FREE! The Studio is just above Augusta GA and runs from 11:00-2:00 and we even feed you. What more could you want? Just email me that you want to come or give me a call (706) 359-6387 Studio, (706) 401-6985 Cell, melissa@thestampingstudio.com

If you are a regular guest at the workshops I still need an RSVP to make sure I have enough supplies cut for all of you. Please RSVP ASAP. Thanks everyone and I can't wait to see you all!

Scrapblog

I did it! I created my first digital scrapbook page using http://www.scrapblog.com/ Not too bad for my first try and it was easy using their system. I took this photo last week of our tortoiseshell cat Jacki and just loved it. It captured her attitude or should I say "cat-attidue". I know "har, har"!

I hope you all have a great weekend... I am busy working on the workshop projects as I posted yesterday and fighting migraines. I have good medications but it still takes a lot out of you at the end of the day. I hope you all get to stamp this weekend!

Stamp Club Workshop June 20th

Lot's of things on the calendar for me this month so I am getting ready early for our next Stamp Club Workshop. I know you are not going to want to miss this month as we are going to make this super cute card! I was so happy to finally be able to stamp with some of our new images including "Kim" and "Sing" sets along withe "Friendship Quotes" and the cloud from "A little Bird told me". I just love how these Asian girls stamp out don't you? I used the VersaMagic Dew Drops.

The Stamp Club Workshop is open to anyone who would like to come, you just need to RSVP. The Stamping Studio is located above Augusta Ga and we have people drive from all over including the Atlanta area to attend. The workshop is FREE (really!) and we even feed you lunch, so it is worth the trip. Email me if you want to RSVP or need more information.
