Bat Card

I was able to play with one of the new Halloween stamp sets and had so much fun with the new bat image from the Halloween Fun set. I stamped him on light gray cardstock and used a gray marker to add shadows and then a the new white Inkssentials opque pen to add highlights. Then I trimmed him out and folded the winds up on each side to give him dimension, and then used a 3-d glue dot to keep him raised from the card. Too much fun. Here is the card I made.

Supplies used;

#RSSBS33 Halloween Fun stamp set, Dark Papaya, black cardstocks, Black StazOn inkpad, White Versamagic ink pad, BasicGrey Ambrosia paper pad, white opaque Inkssentials pen, light gray marker, Queen & Co. brads, safety pin and anchor, May Arts ribbon.

Las Vegas Stamp Set

Here is our final stamp set which is now available in the website store http://www.thestampingstudio.com/ in the New Rubber Stamps section. This set contains Las Vegas icons, as well as poker chips, and 4 sayings/words. The sayings read;
Shuffle up and Deal
Your best chance to get a royal flush in a casino... ...is in the bathroom!
You've go to know when to hold'em, know when to fold'em
Poker night.

Here is a card I designed with the set (background on the front) that we are going to make at the Open House we are holding here on Friday night the 19th. Everyone is invited to Open House and we will have make-n-takes, demo's and food by Husband. Just let me know if you can make it so I can have enough supplies cut for the free projects we are going to make.

Fall Stamp Set Now Available!

Hey everyone,

The new fall/halloween stamps just arrived this afternoon and are now available at the website store http://www.thestampingstudio.com/ in the "New Rubber Stamps" section.

Here are the four sets that are now available.

Another Sneek Peak! 9/09/08

Well I can't stop now that I have started... here is another Sneek Peek stamp set for you. I created this set to go with our Scramping Retreat theme of Las Vegas (I will Sneek Peek a Vegas stamp set for you tomorrow) and I love how this set stamps out on paper. This is a great "man-ly" set perfect to use on projects we make for our favorite man. You can create great backgrounds with these images, and how about making score sheets for our card games? This stamp set is available right now in the websites store www.thestampingstudio.com in the "New Rubber Stamps" section.
On another note... do you remember when I mentioned that I had filmed a video on how to make spring cards? Well you may have to wait a bit longer as I accidentally erased the whole thing! I am such a "doorknob" sometimes!!! I will re-shoot it as soon as I can.

Carol Duvall Show!

Hey ya'll,

I just turned to HGTV and see that one of the episodes that I am is airing right now! 12:30 Eastern Standard time. You might be able to view if you turn to it right now... or if you live on the west coast you should be able to catch it. This episode I demonstrate how to make those fun little Bungee Books.

Sneek Peek 9/8/08

Hey everyone,

Here is another Sneek Peek stamp set for you and one that I have had several inquiries about already. This is a very large set which measures approx. 8.5x6" and includes all the months of the year, all the days of the week and numbers 1 - 10. Not only is this set perfect for making calendars, but use the images separately and you are open to tons of possibilities.

What is even better is that this stamp set is available right now! To view this stamp set go to the websites store and scroll down to "New Rubber Stamps" (categories are in alphabetically order) and it will be the first stamp set on the page.
