What I learned today

Hey Everyone,

I learned a time saving trick, that maybe you already know. You can run two pieces of cardstock through an embossing folder and your Cuttlebug and they will both be equally embossed. What a time saver when you are making a bunch of one card design (or getting ready for a class like me!). You know it really is "the little things in life" that get you happy and excited!

Lay two pieces of cardstock/pattern cardstock in your folder.Run it through your Cuttlebug like normal.

There you go... two pieces of embossed cardstock. I did not try this with other weigths of cardstock, so there may be differences.

This does work with Prismatics, too, but the embossing is not quite as deep as it is with one thickness. So, it depends on what I am doing with it.....meaning, if I am leaving it as is with no inking or any other highlighting (as a background) it doesn't matter. If I am adding ink, paint, etc. to the embossing, I prefer to emboss it with one thickness so the embossing is deep.

Of course, I am totally anal about stuff like this!!LOL So take what I've said with a grain of salt. I am sure it works fine either way!

Have a great day!
