Suzanne's Transparency samples

I am sorry I am a bit behind on posting more of these wonderful Transparency Challenge samples. We have been having a great time celebrating Jesus' birthday and then I was the unhappy recipient of a virus that really wiped me out for over a week. Blah!... I am really sick of being sick I can tell you.

I hope you have been enjoying your family and friends this holiday season. If you want to check out my family Christmas card here is a link; http://www.facebook.com/home.php?ref=home#/photo.php?pid=10151529&id=340090670117

The samples below are from our very talented Design Team member Suzanne Milam did for our Transparency challenge. Enjoy!

Stamps on their way!

I was just notified that the 9 new stamps sets from artist friends Dionne and Blair are due to arrive here at the Studio on December 14th. Yea new rubber... I just love new rubber!

Below is a new image from Blair. I am just an animal lover and I also loved coloring and blending the feathers with my Copic markers. You know I am addicted to Copic markers lately right?

I will keep sneak peeking the new images and let you know when they are available in the store.

Cheryl's Transparency Scrapbook page

Sorry this is a little late... Lot's of holiday things going on with the boys. It surely is a fun time of the year! Next week will "really" be busy with my twins boys performing in a different venue Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I know that they are excited that, that Friday is their last day of school and a 1/2 day at that!

Below is Cheryl's last transparency project that is so stinking cute! A scrapbook page with lot's of stamped transparency pieces added for wonderful accents and dimension. I hope you will try this technique on your project soon.

I will be showcasing other Design Team members Transparency projects the rest of the week... I think you are really going to be surprised at the wonderful things you can do with this basic supply!

More of Cheryl's Transparency projects

As promised here are more of Cheryl's design team challenge projects where she used transparencies. This is a frame that Cheryl alerted with the cutest little girl smiling from within. This is Cheryl's daughter Payton. The butterfly and branch were stamped in black on a transparency, cut out and added to the frame.
This is a bookmark card and I just love the thought of a card and gift in one... don't you? Again the branch image from the "Branch Collage" stamp set is stamped on the transparency in black and added to the front of the card. I love the effect and dimension this gives the project. This is the bookmark And here is the inside which is blank for you to write your message. Too cute! I have one more project of Cheryl's that I will share with you tomorrow.

Coloring...

I've been coloring again, and loving it! These are some new images from our artist friend Dionne that are being made into rubber as we speak. I couldn't wait to use them so I printed the images out to color and make some samples for when we do our unveiling. I have really been having fun with my Copic markers and so glad that we are carrying this great product.

I will share the samples with you when they are done.

"You know" transparencey cards

This months Design Team challenge was for them to use transparencies in their projects. Here are a couple cards that Cheryl Kelly-Van Domelen made that I wanted to show you today. I have more projects from Cheryl and the other DT members that I will be showcasing the rest of the week.

I really wanted you to see that along with the transparencies she also used our funny saying set "You know..." and the other set that goes along with it "You know... Add on" They really bring a smile to my face and I know they will do the same to your card recipient! You can get a supply list and instructions for these projects in Cheryl's studio gallery at the website. Just click on "Studio's by TSS Stampers" and then scroll down to the gallery "Cheryl KDV's Studio"

Saying reads "You know you are getting older when... you are abducted by aliens
but immediately returned in favor of a living specimen. Happy Birthday! You know you are getting older when... you had to get rid of your dog
He kept trying to drag you to the yard to bury you. Happy Birthday!

Shouldn't show you this!

I really shouldn't show you this card but I am going to because the little birdie is so cute! This card is made with a "stamp to be" from "new to us" artist Blair Lambert. We will have 5 new sets from Blair on the way and 4 new sets from artist Dionne on the way as well. Whoohoo lot's of new rubber! I also hope to have a few new images from Roanne Mathais coming your way as well. But the new sets from Blair and Dionne are already in production and are a sure thing... hopefully in a few weeks we will have them in our hot little hands.

I am thankful for new stamps. :)

Fun from a friend!

I meant to share this with you a long time ago. Isn't it cute? It is a large tag/card made with our "Birdie Gang" and "Oh Happy Day" stamp sets. Holly and her stamping group meet together once a month to share idea's and fellowship. For the last two years they have come in September from the Atlanta area to The Stamping Studio for their get together. I have projects for them to make and of course we eat! They are really a fun gang to have hear and I hope they will come again next year. Holly sent this card as a thank you and I was really thankful to get such a fun card in the mail. The cardboard heart was painted with crackle paint and look at that envelope! It is our cow stamp with a crow sitting on him (non TSS stamp)... that is too cute. Thank "you" Holly!
