"You know" transparencey cards

This months Design Team challenge was for them to use transparencies in their projects. Here are a couple cards that Cheryl Kelly-Van Domelen made that I wanted to show you today. I have more projects from Cheryl and the other DT members that I will be showcasing the rest of the week.

I really wanted you to see that along with the transparencies she also used our funny saying set "You know..." and the other set that goes along with it "You know... Add on" They really bring a smile to my face and I know they will do the same to your card recipient! You can get a supply list and instructions for these projects in Cheryl's studio gallery at the website. Just click on "Studio's by TSS Stampers" and then scroll down to the gallery "Cheryl KDV's Studio"

Saying reads "You know you are getting older when... you are abducted by aliens
but immediately returned in favor of a living specimen. Happy Birthday! You know you are getting older when... you had to get rid of your dog
He kept trying to drag you to the yard to bury you. Happy Birthday!

Shouldn't show you this!

I really shouldn't show you this card but I am going to because the little birdie is so cute! This card is made with a "stamp to be" from "new to us" artist Blair Lambert. We will have 5 new sets from Blair on the way and 4 new sets from artist Dionne on the way as well. Whoohoo lot's of new rubber! I also hope to have a few new images from Roanne Mathais coming your way as well. But the new sets from Blair and Dionne are already in production and are a sure thing... hopefully in a few weeks we will have them in our hot little hands.

I am thankful for new stamps. :)

Fun from a friend!

I meant to share this with you a long time ago. Isn't it cute? It is a large tag/card made with our "Birdie Gang" and "Oh Happy Day" stamp sets. Holly and her stamping group meet together once a month to share idea's and fellowship. For the last two years they have come in September from the Atlanta area to The Stamping Studio for their get together. I have projects for them to make and of course we eat! They are really a fun gang to have hear and I hope they will come again next year. Holly sent this card as a thank you and I was really thankful to get such a fun card in the mail. The cardboard heart was painted with crackle paint and look at that envelope! It is our cow stamp with a crow sitting on him (non TSS stamp)... that is too cute. Thank "you" Holly!

The December Flower Of The Month is now available in the online "Store" www.TheStampingStudio.com in the "New Rubber Stamps", or "READY SET STAMPS" sections. We have unveiled this beautiful image early so that you could use the Poinsettia in your holiday projects.

You have let us know how much you have enjoyed the FOTM program so our artist friend Brooke Smith graciously agreed to do it for another year. Yea! The drawings are all done and in fact the first shipment is suppose to be here tomorrow. I wish I could show you all the new images but you will have to wait month by month... by long month. Ha! The first one in the new series will be available January 1st and you are going to LOVE it!!! In the meantime I hope you enjoy the Poinsettia and the samples below that Dina Gerner created to inspire us. Aren't they gorgeous?!

November Sweet Of The Month!

Here it is!... the November SOTM (Sweet Of The Month) from our artist friend Brooke Smith. I so look forward to showing you all the new SOTM and FOTM (Flower Of The Month) ever month. I wanted to show you how wonderful this image would look on a card, so I sat down and whipped out this card this morning. This set is now available in the online store www.thestampingstudio.com in the "store" in the section "New Rubber Stamps" or "Ready Set Stamps".

I am busy in the Studio designing the last projects, cutting, crimping, embossing and just getting ready for our Christmas Card Workshop that is coming up "this" Saturday. I am so excited for this event and hope that you will all have fun making the projects. Oh!... and you know that we are going to have a smorgasbord of wonderful food that the Stamp Club members are providing. Yummy! (I am making my meatballs and Mexican dip) It is not too late to sign up if you decide you want to come. I am cutting extra supplies so it will be no problem. I hope to see you all here!

November FOTM

Here it is!... the November Flower Of The Month the ever popular Tulip. I was looking through a Christmas Home Decorating magazine yesterday while waiting in line to pick up my boys from school (great time to do a little reading!) and saw a beautiful room decorated in blacks and greens for Christmas with lot's of white tulips... so pretty.

Something else that is pretty are the samples below created by Design Team Member Wendy Sebesta. Love' em!!

This set is now available in the online store in the "New Rubber Stamps" section. Also... I will be unveiling the December FOTM this weekend so that you can use it in your holiday stamping projects... can you guess what it is?
