This is a sweet and simple card using BasiGrey Jovial pattern paper and our stamp sets "Joy & Noel" (Believe) and "Mod Snowflakes". A little red rhinestone makes this 4x4 card sparkle

Card of the day 9/28/10

Today's card is one we made in a class at the retreat (sketches class) and it uses our Awareness Ribbon set that I just put on sale for 75% off! The great thing about this stamp set is that you can stamp it in any color for the many different causes you may want. There are 6 little words that you can stamp on the tail of the ribbon that say; support, remember, care, cure, survivor and awareness. Cinder, the new Studio cat

Here is the new addition to our family and official Studio cat - Cinder. Cinder-bella if you want to be formal. She is just a bundle of energy and affection and we all love her already. Lord thank you for little kittens.. they sure spice up your life!

I have a "revisited" project for you today from Suzanne Milam. She used our FOTM Snowdrop to decorate this mini loaf of bread. Wouldn't that be a great gift?

Unfortunatly my printer is on the fritz and won't allow me to upload any photo's from my camera's photo memory card, and it won't let me print anything either. Arggg! Especially since I want to show you a photo of our new kitten.

I started to drive into Augusta (nearest big city - 40-50 minute drive) but the rain is just coming down to hard today for my liking so I think I will hunker down in the Studio and do a little cleaning up and maybe some creating. :)

I love this 4x4 Christmas card made with the Flower Of The Month set "Poinsettia". I also added some of the new BasicGrey Jovial collection papers and used my Copic markers to color. Don't you love the rich colors? I plan on making my own 4x4 envelope using the Ultimate Crafter Companion

New BasicGrey in the house!

Here is the new BasicGrey pattern papers we just got in to The Studio. So pretty and double sided! I admit I went a little crazy with the Jovial collection and ordered almost all of the papers in the collection. The Pyrus collection I am only selling by the pack and you really need to see the rich fall colors to appreciate it. You can find all these papers in the online store in the "BasicGrey" section

As promised here at all the wonderful cards that Mimi had in her Unders Swap box from this weekend. I thought they were all mini works of art and wanted to show you each one!

Project's of the day - Unders Swap

I have so many wonderful projects to show you from our Scramping Retreat this past weekend! The projects below are from our Unders Swap. What is an Unders Swap you ask? You may have participated in one of these swaps before maybe at Christmas time and basically it is a swap where you can open a gift or go steal one from someone who has already opened a gift. Really fun!

The "Unders" part comes in play when we the projects to cost "under" $10.00 to make, and take you "under" 2 hours to create. You also were required to have a stamped image somewhere on the project even if it was just a stamped tag. This is a stamping retreat after all!

The gifts below are all so wonderful and I know a few took more than 2 hours to create, but I won't mention names!!

Erin made this apron and I want one too! Her gift came in this cute box that has a stamped image cleverly adhered inside.

This is Mimi's bag that reads "pick me" (LOVE that!)

Here is her card organizer that was filled with the cutest cards. I am going to show you all the cards here tomorrow.

Dana made this cute box that holds an array of wonderful tea. I was the proud recipient of this gift. (Thanks Dana I love it!!)

Jan stamped up the insert for this great travel mug. Notice the cute acorn bells.

Norma made a decorated tin that contained these magnetic memo boards. The one featured here she decorated using paper napkins, and that little gold sun is a magnet!

Yours truly made this gift of a mini canvas and easel with a cute owl on it with matching card, and then the towels inside the box have the cutest owls embroidered on them (a score from Joann's!).

A great chipboard album made by Judy. Judy showed us her album like this that she uses to keep track of all of her stamping supplies including ink pads, dies, Copics, etc....

Kay painted and stamped this cute pot (she is the Stickle Queen) that she filled with everything to pamper yourself including scrubbies, incense and such.

Pam made these pretty cork trivets. Aren't they great? I used these in my kitchen all the time and had not even thought of stamping on them.

Thank you to all who participated in the swap... it was so much fun and what great inspirational idea's we all got from it!
