Heart in Hands card

Here is some photo's of one of the cards we are going to make at the Stamp Club workshop on Saturday. It is one of my favorite images from out new artist Blair Lambert called Hear in Hands, and it is a drawing of a pair of hands in the shape of a heart. This has been a popular image in commercials lately and I was so excited when Blair submitted it to us.

a couple of red rhinestones add a little bling I love me some satin ribbon now!
here is a close up of the heart in hand image... I used Copics to color in shades of; E00 skin white, E11 barely beige, rv21light pink, rv23 pure pink, and the outlined it with c-1 cool gray no.1
Here is the finished card we are making. I am using the BasicGrey collection Sugar Rush which is so much fun and reminds me of spring, which I have been dreaming about.

We still have room at the workshop so if you have been on the fence about coming... please do!

Hi stamping friends,

Would you all like to go to a rubber stamping convention in February? I will have a booth in Lawrenceville GA the weekend of February 6th and 7th ath the Heirloom Rubber Stamp Convention and it is a really fun time to see demo's and do make-n-takes and get inspiration.

Here is the website for more information on the convention;
http://www.heirloompro.com/shows2010/shows-lawrenceville-02-06-2010.html You can order tickets through them or at the convention. You may notice that I am not on the list of vendors but that is because I am a last minute entry. Also, they have fee classes you can take on Friday if you want.

The convention sponsors have rooms blocked off for convention goers at; Holiday Inn Gwinnett Center, 6310 Sugarloaf Parkway, Duluth, GA 30097, for $75.00 plus tax. So we could all stay at the same hotel, and maybe share rooms to keep costs down. I am going to be there Friday to set up the booth and if you want to come the night before we could all meet for dinner. Wouldn't that be fun?! And the same for Saturday night as well.

I will need some help during the convention and would be very grateful if you would like to volunteer please let me know. You can just volunteer for a 2-3 hours if you want, or more. I will compensate you in free stamps.

If you have any questions please feel free to call or email me. If you have not been to a convention this would be a great one to go to and I would love to hang out with my stamping buddies!

Warmly,

Melissa

Last of the Transparency Samples by Wendy

Here are Design Team member Wendy Sebesta's Transparency projects. Aren't they wonderful?! All the samples from our talented Design Team members really inspire me. I heard from DT member Cheryl that a magazine is interested in her transparency samples for possible publication. Yea! We will keep you updated on that and when she will be in the magazine and which one. I can't wait to try some of these techniques for myself.
